These Terms of Use apply to your use of Taqtik Health websites, patient services, Community features and related digital tools. By accessing or using these services, you agree to use them in accordance with these Terms.
About Taqtik Health
Taqtik Health provides technology, education, engagement, health-tracking and health-support tools. Services may include patient accounts, manual health-data entry, connected-device features, progress information, educational resources, reminders, challenges, achievements and optional Community features.
Features and availability may change as the platform and individual healthcare programs evolve.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and to keep relevant account information reasonably current.
You should not share your password or permit another person to access Taqtik Health using your credentials.
Appropriate Use
You agree not to misuse Taqtik Health services or interfere with their operation or security. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account, restricted systems or information that you are not authorized to access.
You may not use the platform to distribute malicious software, impersonate another person, harass other users, engage in unlawful conduct or deliberately interfere with the experience of other users.
Community Participation
Community participation is optional. If you choose to participate, you are responsible for the information you decide to share.
Community features are intended for respectful support, education and engagement. Do not post another person’s private or confidential information without appropriate permission.
Taqtik Health may moderate or remove Community content, or restrict access to Community features, when reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain the service or address inappropriate use.
Health Information and Medical Care
Taqtik Health does not replace your physician, clinic or other qualified healthcare professional. Information presented through the platform is intended to support health management, education and engagement and is not a substitute for individualized professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Always follow the instructions and care plan provided by your qualified healthcare professionals.
Connected Devices
Some Taqtik Health features may use information from supported wearable or health devices. Device availability, compatibility, synchronization and data availability may depend on third-party devices, services, networks and permissions.
Unless required by a specific healthcare program, use of a wearable or connected device is optional.
Educational Content
Educational resources are provided for general informational and support purposes. They may not apply to every individual or medical situation.
Third-Party Services
Taqtik Health may link to or interact with services operated by third parties. Taqtik Health does not control the availability, content, security or practices of independent third-party services.
Service Availability
We work to keep Taqtik Health services available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual Property
Taqtik Health websites, software interfaces, branding, original content and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where expressly permitted, these materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified or distributed for commercial purposes without authorization.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TAQTIK HEALTH SERVICES, INCLUDING THE WEBSITE, APPLICATION, COMMUNITY, EDUCATIONAL CONTENT, CONNECTED-DEVICE FEATURES AND AI COUNSELOR (THE “SERVICES”), ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. THIS INCLUDES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, TAQTIK HEALTH INC. (“TAQTIK HEALTH,” “WE” OR “US”) DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE; (B) DATA FROM CONNECTED DEVICES OR MANUAL ENTRIES WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE OR DELIVERED WITHOUT DELAY; (C) AI-GENERATED RESPONSES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR SITUATION; OR (D) ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USING THE SERVICES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL TAQTIK HEALTH, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. This includes liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury or death caused by our negligence, and any rights you may have under California Civil Code Section 1668 or other consumer protection laws that apply to you.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at care@taqtik.com and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
If the dispute is not resolved informally, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California. You and Taqtik Health consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
This section does not limit any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of the state where you live.
Changes to Services or Terms
Taqtik Health may update its services and these Terms as the platform evolves. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with the applicable revision date.
