Taqtik Health, together with its sister company Taqtik IO, is leading an innovative research initiative that explores how bariatric surgery impacts long-term patient outcomes. Leveraging advanced wearable-technology integrations, the program is designed to capture real-time health metrics that help researchers better understand recovery patterns, weight-loss trajectories, and overall wellbeing post-surgery.
This program is part of an active research trial. Enrollment is limited, and not all applicants will be selected.
About the Bariatric Research Trial
Purpose of the Study
This study aims to deepen medical understanding of how bariatric surgery affects patient outcomes by analyzing ongoing, real-world data captured through wearable devices. Insights from this research may support future clinical guidelines, improve post-operative care, and enhance quality of life for bariatric patients.

Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from individuals who meet the following criteria:

You reside in the USA

You are scheduled for bariatric surgery or have had your procedure
- Your are currently on GLP-1’s for weight loss

You are willing to share wearable health-metric data (weight, steps, sleep, heart rate, etc.)

What Participation Includes
Study Procedures

A wearable device or manual data entry
- You will share health metrics with the research team over a 3-month period
Time Commitment
Approximately 3 months, with active engagement throughout the study.
