Overview Kameda Medical Center is private owned hospital located in the southern area of Chiba prefecture. The KMC campus includes Kameda General hospital with 917 beds and 500 full-time physicians specializing in the latest cancer treatment to oriental medicine. Kameda Clinic is an outpatient facility with more than 3,000 patients daily seeking quality healthcare. The campus also features a level-I Emergency/Trauma center and a Rehabilitation Hospital for patients in need of long-term rehabilitation treatment. Women-specific examinations are available to early detect breast cancer, uterine cancer or ovarian cancer are also provided. Instead of using the traditional mammography equipment, the clinic uses a tomosynthesis to conduct digital breast imaging. Standard Health Checkup Packages include body measurement, urine test/ stool test, blood test, chest x-ray, lung function test, electrocardiogram, abdominal ultrasonography, hearing test, ophthalmic examination, and upper-gastrointestinal endoscopy. Other optional items are also available for customers to choose from, including: thyroid gland (ultrasound/ blood test), bone density, brain image (MRA/MRI), female gynecological examinations -Pap smear/ gynecological ultrasound, female breast cancer screening (mammography/ breast ultrasound), PSA (screening test of prostate cancer).
